  • 16 Dec 2016

In a recent visit to Eritrea, Professor Tim Edwards attended a partnership meeting between the Eritrean Ministry of Agriculture, the Hemelmalo College of Agriculture and their Irish development partners from Vita, Gorta SHA and Teagasc (Irish Agriculture and Food Authority). This work, which includes potato cultivation and the crossbreeding of dairy herds, is about to be extended beyond the initial plot stage. Related projects include cook stove innovations and water pump repairs in rural communities.
